| Vintage Colored Ranch not only produces the most wonderful show and companion dogs, but we also rescue purebred aussies for the adoption into their new forever homes. Since in Texas, VCR has adopted over 100 Australian Shepherds and some other purebred breeds into their new homes.
I want to thank all of you so far that have adopted one of the wonderful aussies from us. We have really worked hard and hope everyone is happy and that their new dogs are happy in their new homes.
We get requests continually to help out with the other local animal rescue groups with helping them place other breeds because of our success in finding good homes for our dogs. It is down right hard work and it only comes around with a pat on the back when one of these dogs gets to go home and be a part of a loving family. Please help us to help them find their forever homes.
The list of dogs can change daily on availability, so please do not hesitate to contact us on an updated list. It takes time away from the dogs to sit down and update this website....so please be patient or just give us a call or shoot us an email. We always like to hear from you.
Vintage Colored Ranch is currently helping to adopt dogs out for another breeder that is not able to take care of her dogs any longer due to a stroke. Please help us help these dogs find a forever home.
All of these aussies are purebred, but will NOT go home with any registration papers. Due to our strict adoption process, all dogs will be placed in suitable homes on a first come first serve basis upon qualifying.
The following will be done before the dog is to leave our home.
- All dogs will be spayed or neutered.
- All dogs will be up to date on shots to include: Rabies, 5 way booster.
- All dogs will be given flea/tick preventive medications and worming during their stay with us and before they go to their new homes.
- All dogs will go through basic behavior training prior to being adopted.
- All dogs will be adopted out at a fee of $250.00.

| Deeds is a 10 month old red tri male. He is wonderful with all the dogs and loves the cats. He is very good with kids, but has a very strong herding instinct. So if you have cattle, he is the dog for you. Otherwise he is just a sweet couch potato |

| Amber is a 3 year old red merle female. She is very passive but loves to go for walks. She is great with other dogs, cats and kids and has a wonderful soft herding instinct. She can hold them for hours |
